VERACITY FOODIE REPORT – Hibachi Buffet Grill & Sushi 4025 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, GA 31093

The latest installment of VFR has us evaluating the Hibachi Buffet grill & Sushi restaurant on Watson Blvd. in Warner Robins, Georgia

On Tuesday, August 30, 2022, our team decided to evaluate this all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet, located on Watson Blvd, almost directly across from the Kroger and Kohl’s shopping centers.

Unlike many of the Chinese buffets we have visited in the past, Hibachi Buffet is not only very clean and friendly but absolutely huge – actually deceptively huge. You would really never know from the outside, or the fact that it’s located in a strip mall, that the restaurant could possibly boast 4 massive dining rooms or 9 full-size serving bars.

Only 7 of the 9 serving bars are actually used to serve either hot or cold food (they serve both), but that doesn’t leave the guests short on choices by any means.

We visited in the middle of the day, at about 1:00 PM, going to have evaded the local lunch rush – a plan which turned out to be successful.

Our team found the inside to be both deceptively large, and well appointed, complete with a granite water feature and well-thought-out decor that also boasted accents reminding everyone that this is a local neighborhood eatery first and foremost.

While the atmosphere and decor were pleasant, the real high point of this visit, as with any foodie review visit, is, of course, the food, and there too, The Hibachi Buffet did not disappoint. Featuring 7 fully stocked hot and cold buffet bars, this restaurant truly offered our team some bang for their buck.

Unfortunately, these photos hardly even do justice to the magnificent spread featured at this location, but part of our foodie review program is that we keep our intent and our mission for evaluating each restaurant completely hidden from the management and staff. We do this because we want to make sure our evaluation teams aren’t in any way, treated any differently than any other dining guest would be.

Because of that fact, our staff takes great pains to ensure that these photos are all taken clandestinely. And when detection is unavoidable, we always make it look like we’re just sharing our dining experience on social media as so many others do these days. Still – that camouflage only goes so far, so we often have to leave out details that really are important to the overall experience of a restaurant, and this one was no exception.

The number of options and choices which are available here couldn’t even begin to be photographed for this review. However, all of the dishes our team sampled were not only fresh and appropriately hot or cold, but were simply delicious.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the price as well. For 2 adult buffets and 1 soft drink, the total bill, after tax, was only $23.81! For an all-you-can-eat buffet of this magnitude, we considered this a real deal.

For these reasons, we absolutely recommend the Hibachi Buffet Grill & Sushi of Warner Robins.

Conclusion:

The Positives:

1. The food was Excellent
2. The staff was friendly
3. The selection of choices was impressively large
4. The restaurant and restrooms were clean and produced only good aromas
5. The price was incredible in today’s inflationary atmosphere

The Negatives:

1. The restaurant isn’t the easiest to find
2. The place is almost too big. If you were to visit during a peak rush, navigating the buffets would be difficult.
