The Lambeau – Lager?
2 min readDetroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown got a taste of Wisconsin’s other notable export on Thursday night after an insane TD that put the Lions up 7-3 in the first quarter
In a surprising turn of events, Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown made waves at Lambeau Field with an electrifying Lambeau Leap as a visiting player. St. Brown’s touchdown catch in the first quarter propelled Detroit to a 7-3 lead over their NFC North rivals, setting the tone for their impressive 34-20 victory on Thursday night.
What truly stood out was the remarkable route St. Brown took to outsmart the defender and secure the touchdown. Seizing the moment, he spotted a group of Lions fans in the front row near the end zone and decided to pay homage to the Packers’ iconic celebration.
The Lions faithful cheered, patting and embracing St. Brown in support of his spirited gesture. However, not everyone was pleased. One die-hard Packers fan couldn’t contain their discontent and abruptly doused St. Brown’s helmet with a tall can of adult beverage.
The incident was briefly caught by the Amazon Prime broadcast before heading to a commercial break. Remarkably, St. Brown appeared unfazed by the unexpected shower and showed no signs of discomfort.
Unfortunately for the Packers faithful, the night only took a turn for the worse as they witnessed the Lions amass an impressive 24 points in the first half of the Thursday night clash.
